Daniel Lopes joined the Bouygues group in the Paris region in 1996 as a site engineer in the housing sector, and by 2010 he had risen to senior management level, joining the Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France management committee. In 2011, he transferred to the tertiary sector as CEO of Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France - Ouvrages Publics. In this role, he oversaw the construction of major facilities such as the Accor Arena, the Philharmonie de Paris and La Seine Musicale. In 2019, he switched to the social housing sector as CEO of Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France - Habitat Social, where he consolidated new build and refurbishment activities. In November 2019, he became Chairman of Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est in Lyon, and in January 2026 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Bâtiment France.

Daniel Lopes is a member of the Bouygues Construction Executive Committee.
