A banking website combining convenience and decarbonization
Nearly 400 employees of Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône-Alpes have moved into a 7,680 m² building designed to offer a high quality of life at work while boasting an exemplary environmental footprint.
Sixteen months of work carried out by Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est, in partnership with the architect LUDMER ET BOUVIER ARCHITECTES and the design offices THERMI FLUIDES and ALTEREA, have given this banking site a new lease of life.
The offices stand out for their ambitious energy choices:
- Use of geothermal energy with Celsius Energy: 12 boreholes 120 meters deep provide natural energy covering up to 90% of heating needs and 95% of cooling needs
- Installation of 450 photovoltaic panels on 900 m² of roofing, combined with a completely renovated thermal envelope
- High performance targets: 60% reduction in energy consumption and 80% reduction in carbon emissions, with the aim of obtaining BBC Effinergie Rénovation certification.
