Senior appointments at Bouygues Travaux Publics
At a meeting held on June 11, 2010, the Board of Directors of Bouygues Travaux Publics appointed Philippe Bonnave Chairman and Philippe Amequin Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the company, on the recommendation of Yves Gabriel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction.
Christian Gazaignes, Chief Executive Officer, and Philippe Amequin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for France, will work alongside Philippe Bonnave, who remains Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe.
> Philippe Bonnave, aged 56, is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Lille engineering school. He started his career in 1977 as a works engineer at Nord-France Entreprise, where he later became Head of International and Overseas Operations. He came to the Bouygues Group in 1988, as Senior Vice President of GCA, the Group's Bordeaux-based subsidiary. In 1997, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Entreprises France Centre Sud-Ouest, which he transformed into DV Construction in 1998. In 1999, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Central and South-western Europe. Since February 2003, he has been Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe (the regional subsidiaries of Bouygues Construction in France and Western Europe).
> Philippe Amequin, aged 47, graduated from the ESTP engineering school. His career began with the Bouygues Group in 1986 as a works engineer in the Travaux Publics France business. In 1987, he transferred to Quille to work on the La Hague site, and he then moved on to GFC, the Group's Lyon-based subsidiary, in 1994. Four years later he was named Deputy General Manager of GFC Construction, and then General Manager of Pertuy Construction in 2000. He became General Manager of Quille in 2007. Since 2008, he has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quille, also playing an operational role for business in Western France and in the UK.
