Designed by the architect Dominique Perrault and built by Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France and Bouygues Energies & Services, the Longchamp racecourse, now called ParisLongchamp Racecourse, once again opened its doors, a full 160 years after its inauguration.

Following significant work demolishing the old structures on the famous site, the works teams built a new, larger grandstand with a streamlined design. It also places spectators much closer to the finish line. In terms of innovation, a mobile BIM tool was used during the construction phase that enabled builders to access information and schematics directly at the site.

The racecourse, which can hold 10,000 people and stretches over 160 metres, is environmentally friendly, welcoming, and innovative.

A capacity of 50,000 spectators
