Renovation of the ‘Poste du Louvre’
Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France is carrying out the renovation work on the ‘Poste du Louvre’, which involves the redevelopment/renovation of the 40,000 m² building. The project entails several redevelopments, including the removal of the vaulted basements, the lowering of the first basement level and the creation of a second basement level.
In addition, a luxury hotel comprising around 80 rooms will occupy the whole of the third floor with a 32.5 metre-high glass roof topped by a pergola partially covered in solar panels, as well as a green terrace with a bar in summer. Offices will occupy the first floor, and on the ground floor in the large entrance lobby there will be the post office, shops, a police station and a day-care centre.
